Kepla and Nick Hunt (Outfit) – Mariana Palimsest
Inspired by Nishitani Keiji’s writings on nihilism and imaging, Mariana Palimpsest is a process between ourselves of creating and destroying through superimposition and salvage, inspired by palimpsest texts. Imaging proposes the perception of emptiness through a series of empty layers, therefore creating a tangible (but paradoxical) thingness of ‘nothing’, something which is perceivable yet inaccessible.
